Weekend Preview - 14th/15th April

The cricket season gets underway this weekend, a week later than planned. We were due to have two games this weekend but the second team game at Aldwick is OFF on Saturday. This leaves just the first team game on Sunday at 1pm. This was due to be against East Preston but now the first team are playing Waterlooville from Southern League Divison Two.

The first team have kept the same squad that won West Sussex Division One last year, and will be hoping to get a good pre-season under their belts to help them get off to a good start in Sussex Division 4 West.

1st XI Team News – Mac Cox is unavailable and Chris Heberlein has failed a late fitness test. 

The ground is currently soft but 100% playable. With no major rain in the forecast, the Sportsfield groundsmen are very hopeful we will see the first game of the season played on Sunday.
