Weekly Newsletter - 8/05/18

Well the bank holiday weekend is over, and with 8 games being played and lots of social events coming up, we have a bumper newsletter for you.

The weekend got off to a perfect start on Saturday morning when the under 10’s won their first game of the season. Full scorecard here.

The first team won their first league game of the season by 159 runs. Ally James scoring 118 not out, and James Askew and Nathan Perry both taking 3 wickets. Full scorecard here.

The second team drew at Clymping. Harry Standing and Dan Peach both scored 50’s. Full scorecard here.

On Sunday, the under 12’s lost against West Wittering. Full scorecard here.

The Sunday team carried on their losing streak at Goodwood despite a good bowling and fielding display. Full scorecard here.

Our player of the week competition is back. Each week we run a poll on our twitter page to see who is our player of the week. This weeks poll can be seen here.

This Friday it is the start of our All Stars programme. To celebrate, we are having a club BBQ running alongside colts training, everyone welcome.

On Saturday it is our annual table tennis tournament. Will anyone be able to beat Dan White? It will start around 8pm and costs £2 to enter.

The bonus started this week and the first winner was our president Hugh Milner with number 41.
