This week’s bonus ball winner was Richard Kitchen with number 50.

On Saturday, the first team hosted Pagham 2’s. Stand-in captain Guy Souch won the toss and elected to bowl first. Pagham lost early wickets with Ryan Budd (5-28) ripping through Pagham’s top 3 to leave them 24-3. However Pagham’s middle order recovered well and got them to 123-4. Pagham then collapsed to 142-9 but a 37 run 10th wicket partnership saw Pagham to 179 all out. In reply, the first team once again started quickly with Tom Lee (34) and Guy Souch (35) leading the way. Once they were dismissed Jack Turner (59*) and Louis Paul (44*) finished the job inside 29 overs. Full scorecard here.

The fourth team hosted Broadwater 3’s at Amberley. Captain Tim Hemsley won the toss and elected to bat. Useful contributions from nearly everyone in the side led the fourth team to 220-8. Dan Clarke top scoring with 41. In reply, a good bowling and fielding display kept things tight. Regular wickets fell throughout the innings and Broadwater were dismissed 111. Jonathon Keyte leading the way with 3-15. Full scorecard here.

On Sunday, the Sunday side hosted Rustington. Rustington posted 209 in their 40 overs. Littlehampton fell 40 runs short despite contributions from Ryan Budd, Mike Askew, and Rick Heberlein.
