The first team had a frustrating day at Crawley on Saturday. On a very interesting pitch, the first team managed to work their way to 188-8. Tom Lee top scoring with 30. In reply, Crawley were flying at 74-0 off 14 overs. However, the introduction of Ryan Budd (7-43) had Crawley in all sorts of trouble, and they were soon 97-7. Despite the best efforts of the bowlers, and the rest of the side, the first team could only get one more wicket, and Crawley finished on 166-8, and secured the draw. This draw means the first team are now 33 points clear at the top of the table. Full scorecard here.
